Converting Models to Datasets

The Convert Model to Dataset task produces a dataset that contains all the information included in the model, such as the weights of a neural networks or the coefficients of a linear regression.

This dataset can then be visualized through a Data Manager or exported to an external item, such as a file or database table.

Care must be taken when modifying the dataset provided by this task, since this can lead to an inconsistent format which can no longer be interpreted by a subsequent Convert Dataset to Model task.

Prerequisites

you have created a process in Rulex
the required datasets have been imported into the process.
you have generated a model in the process.

Procedure

Drag and drop the Convert Model to Dataset task onto the stage.
Connect a task that contains an existing model to the Convert Model to Dataset task.
Right-click the task and select Compute Selected to compute the task.

The Convert Model to Dataset task does not have any parameters or options to define, and consequently it is sufficient to compute the task in order to transform the model.
